- The course is undulating but generally considered fast. The most significant inclines occur in the first 10km and through Beacon Hill Park, but there are no major mountain climbs.
- What is the gear bag process?
- There is a gear check truck located near the start line at the Inner Harbour. Use the provided clear plastic bag from your race kit and ensure you drop it off at least 30 minutes before the 8:00 start.
- How do I get from the airport to downtown Victoria?
- Victoria International Airport (YYJ) is about 30 minutes away. The most convenient options are the YYJ Airport Shuttle, a taxi (approx. $60 CAD), or ride-sharing apps like Uber.
- Are there hydration stations on the course?
- Yes, water and electrolyte drinks (typically Gatorade) are available roughly every 3km. Gels are usually provided at two specific stations around the 15km and 30km marks.
- What happens if I finish after the time limit?
