- The terrain in the Sierra Tarahumara is rugged and rocky. Expect significant vertical gain on loose surfaces and high-altitude sections that require technical footwork.
- Is there a mandatory gear check?
- Yes, being a UTMB event, mandatory gear including a waterproof jacket, emergency blanket, whistle, and minimum water capacity (usually 1L) will be checked.
- What is the best way to get to the start line?
