- The Venicemarathon Village is typically located in San Giuliano Park in Mestre. It is mandatory to pick up your bib here on Friday or Saturday; no bibs are distributed on Sunday morning.

- The first 25km are flat and scenic along the Brenta River. The final 10km are challenging due to the 14 small bridges in Venice, which are covered with wooden ramps for the race.
