- How do I get to the start line?
- The start is at Milsons Point. Public transport is free for competitors on race day; trains run frequently to Milsons Point station from the CBD.
- When and where is the Race Expo for bib collection?
- The ASICS Event Expo is usually held at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney in Darling Harbour from Thursday to Saturday. There is no race-day pickup.
- What is the cut-off time?
- The Sydney Marathon has a strict 7-hour cut-off time to allow for the reopening of major roads including the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
- Is the course flat?
- It is undulating. While it crosses the iconic Harbour Bridge, there are several rolling hills throughout Centennial Park and the Pyrmont section before a flat finish at the Opera House.
- Is there a bag drop service?
- Yes, bag drop is available at the start area at Milsons Point. Your gear will be transported to the finish area at the Royal Botanic Gardens.
- What nutrition is provided on course?
- Water and electrolyte drinks are provided every 2.5km to 5km. Gels are typically available at specific stations around the 20km and 30km marks.
