FAQ

Where does the bib collection take place?
Packet pickup normally takes place at the Culture House (Kulturhuset) in the city centre, just a few minutes' walk from the major hotels, beginning two days before the race.
What is the gear requirement for the race?
While there is no mandatory kit, the Arctic weather in October can be unpredictable. We recommend thermal leggings, a long-sleeve base layer, a windproof jacket, gloves, and a headband/buff.
Is the course hilly?
The course is relatively flat by Norwegian standards, but it does include a significant crossing of the Tromsø Bridge twice, which provides a challenging incline and spectacular views.
How do I get from the airport to the city centre?
Tromsø Airport (TOS) is only 15 minutes away. You can take the Airport Express Bus (Flybussen) which stops at major hotels, or a local taxi.
What time does the race start?
Unlike the Midnight Sun Marathon, this autumn race typically starts in the morning/midday (around 10:00 or 12:00) to maximise daylight, though confirm your heat time on the official site.
Are there bag drop facilities?
Yes, a secure bag drop is located near the finish area in the city centre. Ensure you use the tag provided in your race pack.
