- Where exactly is the race held and how do I get there?
- The race is held in Hall 6 of the NESCO Center in Goregaon. The best way to reach it is via a cab-hailing app like Uber or Ola. If staying nearby, an auto-rickshaw is a fast, local experience.
- When and where is the packet pickup?
- Packet pickup typically occurs at the NESCO Center on the afternoon before the race. Ensure you have your government ID and your HYROX registration QR code ready.
- What is the humidity like inside the venue?
- While the hall is air-conditioned, the high Mumbai humidity and the intensity of the race mean you will sweat significantly. Hydrate aggressively in the 24 hours leading up to the start.
- Are there lockers available for my gear?
- HYROX provides a secure gear bag drop area. You receive a tag that matches your bib number. Do not leave valuables; keep them in your hotel safe.
- What footwear is recommended for the NESCO floor?
- The flooring is typically polished concrete covered with gym mats in stations. Standard cross-training or dedicated HYROX shoes with good grip are essential to prevent slipping during the Sled Push.
- Is food available on-site?
- There are usually light snacks and water inside the venue, but Goregaon has many cafes within 1km. We recommend bringing your own specific pre-race nutrition.
