How do I get to the start line?
The start is at the Monumento a la Revolución. The most reliable way is walking from a nearby hotel or using the Metro (Line 2, Revolucion Station), which usually opens early for runners.
Where is the packet pickup (Expo)?
Typically held at the World Trade Center (WTC) Mexico City in the days leading up to the race. You must bring your official ID and confirmation email.
Is there a time limit for the marathon?
Yes, there is a strict 6-hour limit to complete the 42.195km. After this, roads are reopened to traffic.
How should I handle the altitude?
Mexico City is at 2,240m (7,350ft). Arrive at least 3-4 days early to acclimatize, stay hydrated, and adjust your pace expectations as effort feels significantly harder.
What is the finish line location?
The race traditionally finishes inside the Estadio Olímpico Universitario, the main stadium of the 1968 Olympics.
