Where is the bib collection (Packet Pickup) located?
It typically takes place at the Beirut Marathon Village (Train Station, Mar Mikhael) during the three days preceding the race. Check your email for specific time slots.
What is the best way to get to the start line?
If staying in Downtown or Hamra, walking is best as many roads are closed. Otherwise, use 'Bolt' or 'Uber' to get as close as possible before 05:30.
Is the course flat?
The course is mostly flat as it follows the coast, but it includes several short, sharp bridge inclines and undulating sections around the Port area.
Are there hydration stations on the course?
Yes, water and electrolyte stations are positioned every 2.5km to 5km, along with medical support and local entertainment troupes.
What gear should I pack for late November?
Mornings can be crisp (13°C) but it warms up quickly. A singlet and shorts are usually sufficient, but bring a 'throwaway' layer for the wait at the start.
