What is the terrain like for the Alameda Trail?
The course features a mix of technical single track and wide dirt paths. Expect clay-heavy soil which can become very sticky if it rains shortly before the event.
Where is the packet pickup located?
Bib collection typically takes place at the Polideportivo Municipal de Torres de la Alameda on the Friday afternoon and Saturday morning before the race.
Is mandatory gear required?
While it varies by distance, the marathon and longer trails usually require a thermal blanket, a whistle, and at least 1 litre of water capacity.
Are there hydration stations on the course?
Yes, but keeping with environmental trail ethics, the race is 'semi-self-sufficient'. You must carry your own reusable cup as none are provided at the stations.
