While not as strict as Alpine ultras, a reusable water cup is mandatory as it is a zero-waste event. Trail shoes with good grip are highly recommended for the slag heap descents.

Fly into Lille Airport (LIL), take the shuttle to Lille Flandres station, and then a TER train to Valenciennes. From Valenciennes, it is a 10-minute taxi or local bus to Raismes.

Yes, there are designated grass parking lots near the Parc de la Porte du Hainaut, but they fill up very quickly by 08:00 AM. Arrive early.
