- Where is the packet pickup?
- Packet pickup traditionally takes place the day before the race (Saturday) at the Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort between 09:00 and 15:00. No race-morning pickup is available.
- What time does the race start?
- The full marathon and half marathon start promptly at 05:00 to avoid the peak tropical heat. The 4-person relay also starts at this time.
- Is the course closed to traffic?
- The course is managed by the RCIPS but is not entirely closed. Runners have a dedicated lane, and safety marshals are present at all major junctions.
- How are the hydration stations spaced?
- Water and Gatorade are available approximately every mile (1.6km). Most stations are staffed by enthusiastic volunteers and many local charities.
- What is the time limit for the marathon?
- The official time limit is 6 hours. After 11:00, the course officially closes, though support is often maintained for slightly longer for those already on their final miles.
- Are there hills on the course?
- The course is exceptionally flat, following the coastline. The only elevation changes are very minor rises over small bridges or inland roads.
