- Where do I collect my race packet?
- Packet pickup normally takes place at the CTICC 1 on the day before the event and early on race morning. Bring your photo ID and the QR code from your confirmation email.
- Is there a bag drop at the venue?
- Yes, there is a secure, supervised athlete-only bag drop area inside the CTICC halls. Ensure your belongings are in a closed bag.
- How do I get from the airport to CTICC?
- The most efficient way is via Uber or an official airport taxi (approx. 20 mins). The MyCiTi bus service also runs from Cape Town International (CPT) to the Civic Centre station, which is a 5-minute walk from the venue.
- What is the race floor like?
- The race is held indoors on polished concrete or thin industrial carpet. Use footwear with excellent grip (like Puma Deviate or similar) to ensure no slipping on the sled pull/push.
- Can I bring my own hydration and snacks?
- Yes, you can carry your own nutrition. There are also hydration stations on the course providing water and electrolyte drinks after the running segments.
- Are there showers available after the race?
- The CTICC has standard restroom facilities, but limited shower access. Most athletes staying at nearby hotels (Westin/Cullinan) walk back to their rooms to shower.
