- The Vienna City Marathon Expo ('Vienna Sports World') is typically held at the Marx Halle. You must collect your bib there on Friday or Saturday; there is no bib collection on race day.
- Is the course flat or hilly?
- The course is very flat and fast, designed for PBs. It crosses the Danube and winds through the Prater and Ringstrasse with very minimal elevation gain.
- How do I get to the start line on race morning?
- The start is at the Reichsbrücke. The best way to get there is via the U-Bahn (Subway line U1) to the 'Alte Donau' or 'Kaisermühlen-VIC' stations. Public transport is free for runners on race day.
- Are there showers available at the finish?
- Yes, mobile shower containers and changing facilities are typically provided near the Rathausplatz finish area for all participants.
- What is the bag drop process?
- You will receive a gear bag at the Expo. On race morning, trucks are stationed near the start line (Reichsbrücke) to transport your bag to the finish area at Rathausplatz.
- What kind of nutrition is provided on course?
- Water, ISO drinks, and bananas are provided roughly every 5km. Starting from the midpoint, Coca-Cola is also often available at later stations.
