Where do I pick up my race bib?
Packet pickup is located at the Jeju World Cup Stadium in Seogwipo. You must bring a photo ID and your mandatory gear for inspection before the bib is issued.
Is there a mandatory gear list?
Yes, as a UTMB World Series event, you must carry items such as a waterproof jacket with a hood, a survival blanket, a whistle, a mobile phone, and a minimum of 1L of water.
How do I get to Seogwipo from the airport?
Take the Airport Limousine Bus #600 from Jeju International Airport (CJU). It stops directly at the Jeju World Cup Stadium and major hotels in Seogwipo.
What is the terrain like on Hallasan Mountain?
The terrain is technical with many volcanic rocks and wooden stairs. Good ankle support and trail shoes with aggressive lugs are highly recommended.
Will there be aid stations?
Yes, aid stations provide water, electrolytes, fruit, and snacks. However, TransJeju is semi-self-sufficient, so you must carry your own reusable cup.
Can I use trekking poles?
Yes, poles are allowed and highly recommended for the steep climbs on the 50km and 100km courses.
