Yes, as a UTMB Index race, mandatory gear includes a waterproof jacket, minimum 1L water capacity, whistle, survival blanket, and a mobile phone. Check the specific race guide for weather-dependent additions.
Where is the packet pickup located?
Packet pickup typically takes place in Downtown Auburn at Central Square or the Gold Vibe Kombucha facility the day before your specific race distance starts.
Are there shuttles for the point-to-point races?
Yes, for the 100K and 50K distances, which are often point-to-point, the organizers provide mandatory/optional shuttles from Auburn to the start lines in China Walls or Foresthill. Book these during registration.

Pacers are generally only allowed for the latter half of the 100K race. Mules (pacers carrying runner gear) are strictly prohibited.
