Where and when is race packet pickup?
Packet pickup typically happens 2-3 days prior to the race at a designated expo hall, often near the Taipei Expo Park or Dajia Riverside Park. Check your registration email for the specific hall number.
How do I get to the start line on race morning?
The Taipei Metro (MRT) opens early on race day (usually 05:00). Take the Red Line to NTU Hospital Station; the start line at Ketagalan Boulevard is a 3-minute walk from Exit 1.
Is the course flat?
The course is mostly flat. It starts in the city center and moves towards the riverside parks, which are paved and level. There are minor ramps when entering/exiting the riverside gates.
Are there bag drop facilities?
Yes, but you must use the official 'Chinese Taipei Road Running Association' red bag. These can be purchased at the expo if you don't have one.
What is the typical weather on race day in late October?
Temperatures usually range from 20°C to 26°C. It can be humid, and there is a possibility of light rain or wind as you reach the open riverside sections.
Are the aid stations frequent?
Yes, aid stations are located every 2.5km to 3km, providing water, sports drinks, and frequently local fruit like bananas and cherry tomatoes.
