How do I get to Sun Moon Lake from Taipei?
Take the HSR (High Speed Rail) to Taichung Station. From there, take the 'Taiwan Trip' Sun Moon Lake Route bus directly to Shuishe Pier or Xiangshan.
Is the course flat or hilly?
The course is undulating with several significant climbs and descents as it follows the perimeter of the lake. Prepare for approximately 500m of total elevation gain.
Where is the main packet pickup located?
Packet pickup typically occurs at the Xiangshan Visitor Center the day before the race. International participants should bring their passport and confirmation email.
Is there a time limit for the full marathon?
Yes, there is a strict 6 hour and 30 minute cut-off time for the full marathon to ensure road reopening schedules.
