Where is the Spartan Race packet pickup?
Registration usually takes place at the festival area within the venue in San Agustín del Guadalix. You must collect your headband and timing chip at least 1 hour before your start wave.
What is the terrain like for the Madrid Spartan?
Expect a mix of technical trails, river crossings, and clay-rich soil. It is known for being extremely dusty if dry or very sticky mud if it rains, with significant vertical gain in the Beast/Super categories.
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes, Spartan usually organizes official parking lots nearby. Arrival at least 90 minutes before your heat is recommended as these lots fill up and may requires a short walk or shuttle to the start.
What gear should I wear for this race?
Trail running shoes with aggressive lugs are mandatory for the loose climbs. Lightweight, moisture-wicking compression gear is best to handle the river crossings and the Spanish sun.
