FAQ

What is the expected water temperature in Marina Bay?
The water temperature is typically around 28-30°C. For the T100 Singapore, wetsuits are almost certainly going to be prohibited due to the high temperature.
When is bike check-in for the T100 Singapore?
Check-in typically occurs the day before the race (Friday for Saturday events). You will receive a specific time slot during the athlete briefing.
How do I handle the high humidity during the race?
Singapore's humidity often exceeds 80%. It is critical to increase your electrolyte intake and start hydrating heavily at least 48 hours before the gun starts.
Is the bike course closed to traffic?
Yes, the T100 course uses fully closed roads around the Marina Bay and Benjamin Sheares Bridge areas for maximum safety and speed.
Where is the best place for a pre-race swim?
Since you cannot swim in Marina Bay outside of the event, most athletes use the swimming pools at the Singapore Sports Hub (OCBC Aquatic Centre) or their hotel pools.
What are the travel requirements for bikes on public transport?
Bikes are not allowed on MRT trains during peak hours. We recommend using a cycle-friendly taxi service like 'Grab' with a 'Large' vehicle option to transport bike boxes.
