Where is the packet pickup and expo?
The bib collection typically takes place at the Malieveld (Exhibition Area) near the start/finish line. It is open on Saturday and Sunday morning, but picking it up Saturday is highly recommended to avoid race-day stress.
Is there a bag drop available?
Yes, there is a secured bag storage facility at the Malieveld. Use the luggage tag attached to your race bib and ensure you drop it off at least 45 minutes before your wave start.
What is the best way to get to the start line?
Take the train to Den Haag Centraal Station. The Malieveld (race venue) is less than a 5-minute walk from the station. Driving is discouraged due to extensive road closures.
Are pacers provided for the half marathon?
Yes, 'Pacing Team' runners are available for several target times, ranging from 1:30 to 2:15. Look for the flags in the start corrals.
What are the hydration stations like?
Water and sports drinks are available every 5 kilometres. In the later stages of the half marathon, sponges and fruit (bananas) are also typically provided.
What kind of clothing should I wear?
March in the Netherlands is unpredictable. Expect temperatures between 5-10°C and possible wind. A light windbreaker or arm warmers that can be removed are recommended.
