FAQ

Where is the race packet pickup?
Packet pickup typically takes place at the race village near the Lusail Ferry Dock in the 48 hours preceding the race. Check the T100 official app for your specific time slot.
Is the swim in salt water?
Yes, the swim takes place in the Persian Gulf waters at Lusail. It is typically calm but high in salinity, which provides extra buoyancy.
Are wetsuits allowed?
In December, the water temperature in Doha is usually around 22-24°C. Wetsuits are typically optional for age-groupers but check the final ITU/PTO ruling on race morning.
What are the bike course conditions?
The course is technically flat and very fast, utilizing the wide boulevards of Lusail and the iconic Lusail International Circuit. Be prepared for potential crosswinds.
How do I get my bike from the airport?
Licensed Karwa taxis (large SUVs/Vans) are available at Hamad International Airport. Alternatively, book a private transfer through your hotel specifically requesting a van for a bike box.
Is the run course shaded?
The run along the Lusail Marina is largely exposed. Even in December, the sun is strong, so high-SPF sunscreen and a hat are mandatory.
Are there road closures?
Yes, extensive road closures occur around Lusail City. If staying outside Lusail, use the Doha Metro (Red Line) to Lusail QNB station, though check early morning operating hours.
