- Where does the bib collection take place?
- Packet pickup normally takes place at the Culture House (Kulturhuset) in the city centre, just a few minutes' walk from the major hotels, beginning two days before the race.
- What is the gear requirement for the race?
- While there is no mandatory kit, the Arctic weather in October can be unpredictable. We recommend thermal leggings, a long-sleeve base layer, a windproof jacket, gloves, and a headband/buff.
- Is the course hilly?
- The course is relatively flat by Norwegian standards, but it does include a significant crossing of the Tromsø Bridge twice, which provides a challenging incline and spectacular views.
- How do I get from the airport to the city centre?
- Tromsø Airport (TOS) is only 15 minutes away. You can take the Airport Express Bus (Flybussen) which stops at major hotels, or a local taxi.
- What time does the race start?
- Unlike the Midnight Sun Marathon, this autumn race typically starts in the morning/midday (around 10:00 or 12:00) to maximise daylight, though confirm your heat time on the official site.
- Are there bag drop facilities?
- Yes, a secure bag drop is located near the finish area in the city centre. Ensure you use the tag provided in your race pack.
