Where is the Race Village and Packet Pickup?
The Marathon Office and Expo are typically held at the Palace of Culture and Science (Pałac Kultury i Nauki). Pickup usually closes the evening before the race; no pickup on race morning.
Is the course flat or hilly?
Warsaw is known for a very flat and fast course with very few elevation changes, making it ideal for PBs. The only major 'climb' is usually a gentle bridge crossing.
What is the best way to get to the start line?
Public transport in Warsaw is free for participants on race day (with bib). The Metro (Line 1 and 2) is the fastest way to travel to the central start areas (near Karowa or the Palace).
Are there pacemakers provided?
Yes, pacemakers are available for a wide range of times including 3:00, 3:15, 3:30, 3:45, 4:00, 4:15, 4:30 and 5:00.
What is the time limit for the marathon?
The official time limit is 6 hours and 30 minutes from the gun.
What nutrition is provided on course?
Water and ISO isotonic drinks are provided every 5km. Bananas and sugar cubes are usually available from the 20km mark onwards.
