FAQ

Where is the race packet pickup?
Packet pickup usually takes place at the designated race expo 2-3 days before the event, often located near the Taipei Expo Park or the Chinese Taipei Road Running Association office.
How do I get to the start line on race morning?
Since the race is on a freeway, the start is at the Xinsheng Elevated Expressway (near No. 55 Changji St). Taxis or Ubers are the most reliable early-morning transport before the MRT starts running at 06:00.
Is the course completely flat?
The course is significantly flatter than city street marathons as it takes place on the elevated expressway, though there are slight inclines at on-ramps and off-ramps.
Are there bag drop facilities?
Yes, the organizers provide a bag storage service at the assembly area. You must use the official red CTRRA gear bag which can be purchased at the expo.
What is the time limit for the full marathon?
The time limit is typically 5 hours and 30 minutes. Given the race takes place on a major roadway, the road must be reopened to traffic strictly on schedule.
What is the weather like in Taipei in mid-March?
Temperatures are usually mild, ranging from 16°C to 22°C, but Taipei is known for high humidity and frequent light drizzle during this season.
Are there water stations on the freeway?
Yes, water and electrolyte stations are located approximately every 2.5km to 3km along the expressway course.
