- Through a lottery (opens in October for the following year) or direct registration with a qualifying time. There are also tour operator packages with a guaranteed spot.
- Where is the starting line?
- In Tiergarten, next to the Reichstag. The finish line is at the Brandenburg Gate, 500m away. S-Bahn metro to Unter den Linden.
- Does the course have climbs?
- Almost none — Berlin is completely flat. It is one of the fastest courses in the world precisely for that reason.
- What will the weather be like in September?
- Typically 15-22ºC on race day, with sun. It can be hot — hydrate well in the days leading up to the race.
