Where is the transition area located?
The transition area is usually located in the Reagan Park (Park Reagana) vicinity, very close to the Brzeźno Pier. You can check your bike in on the afternoon before the race.
What is the swim start format?
The swim is a rolling start from the beach next to the Brzeźno Pier. Athletes enter the water in small groups every few seconds based on their estimated finish time.
How flat is the bike course?
The bike course is exceptionally flat and fast, utilizing the tunnel under the Martwa Wisła river and the surrounding highways. It is very aero-bar friendly.
Is a wetsuit required?
The Baltic Sea in June is typically between 16°C and 19°C. Wetsuits are almost always mandatory for age-groupers due to these temperatures.
Where is the best place to pick up my race pack?
The race village and expo are located at the Brzeźno Pier area. Packet pickup usually opens on Friday afternoon and all day Saturday.
Is the run course shaded?
The run course through Reagan Park offers significant shade from trees, which is a relief if it's a sunny day, though the section along the sea wall is exposed.
