- Is the course flat?
- The course is mostly flat as it follows the coast, but there are significant inclines when exiting the bridge and a final uphill kick into the historic Sultanahmet finish.
- What is the baggage policy?
- Baggage buses are available at the start line on the Asian side. Your bag will be transported to the finish line area in Sultanahmet for collection.
- Can I run across the Bosphorus Bridge any other time?
- No, the Bosphorus Bridge is closed to pedestrians. The Istanbul Marathon is the only time of the year you can cross it on foot.
- What is the time limit?
- The time limit for the full marathon is strictly 6 hours. Roads are reopened to traffic progressively behind the final runners.
