The marathon and half-marathon usually start at 06:30 AM to take advantage of the cooler morning temperatures before the desert sun rises.
How do I collect my race pack?
Packet pickup is held at the Marathon Village (Souq Sharq) 2-3 days before the race. There is strictly no packet pickup on race morning.
Is the course flat?
Yes, the course is very flat, running along the Arabian Gulf Street. It is a fast route but can be breezy near the water.
