What is the terrain like for the Les Foulées de la Mue?
It is a nature-heavy course featuring dirt paths, forest tracks, and some riverside trails. While not mountainous, expect mud if it has rained recently in late October.
Can I pick up my bib on race morning?
Normally, bib collection is available at the Cairon salle des fêtes on the morning of the race up to 30 minutes before the start, but pre-registration is highly recommended.
Is there a mandatory gear list?
For these distances (5km-12km), there is no strict mandatory kit, but trail shoes with good grip are essential for the slippery valley sections.
Are there showers available at the finish?
Yes, basic changing facilities and showers are usually provided at the sports complex in Cairon for all participants.
Is the course hilly?
The course is undulating with some short, steep climbs out of the Mue valley, but it remains accessible for road runners transitioning to trail.
