- Yes, typically includes a thermal blanket, whistle, minimum 1L water capacity, and a mobile phone. Check the technical brief 48h before start as rain gear may become mandatory.
- How technical is the Gavarres terrain?
- Expect 'corriol' (singletrack) dominated terrain. It is not extremely rocky like the Pyrenees, but it is very twisty with steep, short climbs and descents that require constant focus.
- Is there a cut-off time for the marathon distance?
- Generally, there is a limit of 7 to 8 hours to complete the course, with intermediate time checks at major aid stations.
- Are poles allowed during the race?
