The transition area (T1 and T2) is typically located in the beach parking areas near the Piazza Andrea Costa, right by the iconic skyscraper.
Is the swim in the sea or a canal?
The swim takes place in the Adriatic Sea, starting from the beach. It is a one-lap rectangular course known for relatively calm waters in May.
What is the bike course like?
The bike course is challenging and scenic, heading into the Romagna hills. It includes the famous climbs of the Nove Colli region with significant elevation gain.
