Most participants receive their race packs via post in the UK. International runners or late entrants must collect their packs from the Event Village in Alexandra Gardens on the Saturday before the race.
Is there a baggage drop-off available?
Yes, there is a secure baggage area located near the City Hall. It is advised to arrive at least 60 minutes before your wave start time as queues can be long.
What is the best way to get to the start line?
Cardiff Central and Cardiff Queen Street stations are both within a 15-minute walk of the start. Avoid driving into the city centre on race morning due to extensive road closures starting at 04:00.
Are there hydration stations on the course?
Yes, water stations are located approximately every 5km. Small bottles are typically provided rather than cups. Lucozade Sport and gel stations are usually positioned around the 15km mark.
What is the time limit for the Cardiff Half?
The course has a cut-off time of 4 hours and 30 minutes from the start of the final wave. After this, roads begin to reopen and timing services finish.
Are running headphones allowed?
