- Where exactly is the start and finish line?
- The race starts and finishes at White Stadium inside Franklin Park. Most of the course loops through the park and along the scenic Emerald Necklace parkway.
- How do I get to Franklin Park on race morning?
- There is no public parking within Franklin Park. B.A.A. provides free shuttles from Forest Hills Station (Orange Line) or the Copley Square area. Plan to arrive 90 minutes before your wave starts.
- Is bib mailing available or must I attend the expo?
- Typically, the B.A.A. requires all participants to pick up their bibs and packets in person at the designated expo venue (usually in Boston's Seaport or Back Bay) in the days preceding the race.
- Is the course hilly?
- The course is generally rolling and undulating. The 'Zoo Hill' section near the end of the race is famously challenging for those who have pushed too hard early on.
- What is the gear bag policy?
- You must use the clear plastic bag provided by the race organisers. Checked bags are dropped at the start area at Franklin Park and can be collected at the finish.
- What is the typical weather for early November?
- Expect crisp, cool conditions. Temperatures usually range from 4°C at the start to 12°C by finish. Bring throwaway layers for the start corral.
