- How do I get to the start line?
- The race is a point-to-point course. All runners must take the official event shuttle buses from Inverness (near Bught Park) to the start line in the Highlands between 07:00 and 07:30.
- Where is the packet pickup?
- Registration and bib collection take place at the Event Village in Bught Park on Saturday (10:00-18:00). There is no bib collection on Sunday morning.
- Is there a bag drop?
- Yes, you can drop a bag at the start line. Organisers provide a numbered bag which will be transported back to the finish line at Bught Park for you.
- What is the course like?
- It is predominantly downhill for the first 8km, then undulating along the shores of Loch Ness, with a challenging climb at mile 18 (km 29) before flattening out towards the finish.
- Are there hydration stations?
- Yes, water is provided in pouches approximately every 5km. Gels are typically provided at specific stations near miles 10, 15, and 20.
- Can I wear headphones?
- Bone-conduction headphones are permitted under UK Athletics rules, but in-ear headphones are discouraged for safety reasons on open-road sections.
