How do I get to the start line?
The race is a point-to-point course. All runners must take the official event shuttle buses from Inverness (near Bught Park) to the start line in the Highlands between 07:00 and 07:30.
Where is the packet pickup?
Registration and bib collection take place at the Event Village in Bught Park on Saturday (10:00-18:00). There is no bib collection on Sunday morning.
Is there a bag drop?
Yes, you can drop a bag at the start line. Organisers provide a numbered bag which will be transported back to the finish line at Bught Park for you.
What is the course like?
It is predominantly downhill for the first 8km, then undulating along the shores of Loch Ness, with a challenging climb at mile 18 (km 29) before flattening out towards the finish.
Are there hydration stations?
Yes, water is provided in pouches approximately every 5km. Gels are typically provided at specific stations near miles 10, 15, and 20.
Can I wear headphones?
Bone-conduction headphones are permitted under UK Athletics rules, but in-ear headphones are discouraged for safety reasons on open-road sections.
