- When and where is the bike check-in?
- Bike check-in typically takes place on Saturday afternoon (the day before the race) at the Stadtsaal/Niklaus-Thut-Platz transition area. Mandatory briefing follows.
- What is the course profile like?
- Extremely challenging. The bike course involves three loops with significant climbing (approx. 1600m total), and the final 30km run includes steep forest trails and paved paths.
- Are there special road closures to consider?
- Yes, Zofingen centre and the surrounding bike loop roads (towards Reitnau) will have restricted access. Arrive at least 90 minutes before your wave start.
- Which airport is best for international athletes?
- Zurich Airport (ZRH) is the most convenient, located about 45-60 minutes away by car or direct train.
- Is drafting allowed on the bike leg?
- No, this is a non-drafting event. Time trial bikes with aero bars are highly recommended due to the fast descent sections.
